WHAT we do

We are unique in our approach to providing grants, having donated millions of dollars to support life saving childhood cancer research. With careful consideration and consultation with leading researchers across the country, we have developed our grant program to make the biggest impact possible. Our smart spending of your donations has translated into innovative breakthroughs, more access to new treatments, and a dramatic change in the landscape of pediatric cancer. All this leads to one very important change for children and their families -- hope for new and improved treatments!

WHO we are

It all started in 2000, when Alex Scott, while bravely battling her own cancer, continued to hold yearly lemonade stands in her front yard to benefit childhood cancer research. News spread of the remarkable sick child dedicated to helping other sick children. People from all over the world, moved by her story, held their own lemonade stands and donated the proceeds to Alex and her cause. In August of 2004, Alex passed away at the age of 8, knowing that, with the help of others, she had raised over $1 million to help find a cure for the disease that took her life. Alex's family - including brothers Patrick, Eddie, and Joey - and supporters around the world are committed to continuing her inspiring legacy through Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation.

WHY we do it

We are innately aware of the struggles that families face throughout their battle with childhood cancer, emotionally, financially and otherwise, and are dedicated to assist them in any way we can. Your celebration can help!

Here's How My Celebration Can Help...

$50 provides an hour’s worth of cancer research, getting us that much closer to a cure.
$150 pays for one months's worth of gas needed by a family traveling to and from a distant hospital for cancer treatments for their son.
$300 provides a hearing aid to a child who has lost her hearing due to the aggressive treatment required by her cancer.
